Most greenhouse plastic roll up electric motors on the market comes with a roll bar adapter that connect to 1 inch outside diameter roll bar pipe. This larger greenhouse roll bar adaptor is designed to connect the greenhouse electrical roll up motor to larger diameter plastic roll bar. With larger roll bar diameter, the electric motor can roll the blackout plastic faster, in less number of rotation. This will make the blackout plastic roll more even, more uniform and more straight, and lasting longer. Please note: Electric motors have two types of bolt hole configuration on the motor shaft. One type the bolt hole puncture half way through on the shaft, the second type the bolt hole puncture through the shaft. These roll bar adaptors only work with motors with puncture through bolt hole on the motor shaft.  The diameter of the smaller openings of these roll bar adaptors that connect to the electric motor shaft are 5/8 inch, it is smaller than the 3/4 inch diameter of the shaft of manual crank and chain crank, so they can not be used as roll bar adaptor for manual crank or chain crank. It can only be used for electric motor.
